Commercial Description:
Brewed with Pumpkin and Spices(Cinnamon,Nutmeg,Cardamom,Cloves). This 8.0% ABV pumpkin ale is heartier, spicier, and more caramelly and pumpkiny than its faint brethren! Perfect finisher on a cool autumn night, or match it up with a slice of pumpkin pie and fresh whipped cream. If you don't agree this is the mother of all pumpkin ales, then you just don't like mothers!

22 oz. brown bomber bottle. Pours out a clear, deep orange color, with a minimal tan colored head. Aromas are of cardamom mostly in this bottle. Numbs your mouth when it’s swallowed. Flavors are mostly of spices. Decent body, medium mouthfeel.

Bottle from Cary Whole Foods. Good aroma, spice, like the labels says Pumpkin, Spices, Cinnamon,Nutmeg,Cardamom,Cloves with caramel / brown sugar. Very clean brownish orange, Big head 2" & lots of bubbles on bottom of glass. Sweet & Spice. Pretty much like aroma, pumpkin tad stronger. Medium body, lite creamy mouth feel, sweet finish. Good, wouldn’t sit around having a bunch of these, but enjoyable enough once & awhile.

More of a spiced ale with Pumpkin than the other way around. It works. Great nutmeg/spice taste with a hint of Pumpkin. Best Pumpkin Ale in my opinion.

Pours a clear orange amber with a quickly diminishing off-white head that fades completely. The aroma is immediately nutmeg and pumpkin, a combination that resembles bubblegum in this case. Cardamom, cinnamon and intoxicating clove pierces through also. The flavour has a strong caramel malt backbone with all-spice and pumpkim overtones, finishing slightly bitter from the alcohol and sweet/spicy. The palate is a bit oily, but still pleasant and easy to drink. This is a fantastic pumpkin ale, quite possibly the best I’ve ever encountered.

This beer pours a clear golden color with a nice head and decent laceing. It had some strong smell of nutmeg and mild hints of bubble gum. As it slides down your throat there are some strong flavors of nutmeg and cinnamon hopps. There also is some intence clove on the back of your palate. The after taste is very smooth and the nutmeg coats the inside of your mouth and stays arround for a while.

nice quality fall sunset orange colored quaff. smooth velvety and creamy it has a nice off white head. my wife loved it and she dislikes 99% of the beers i insist she try. this beer has the tastes of all the spices -primarily cinnamon and nutmeg and then a pretty good pumpkin finish that is almost vegetable like since it is not sweet. i am a regular beer guy so regardless i am not that fond.but it is genuine and properly made. rerate - the more i taste/remember this the less i like it!
