Smell of nutmeg, pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves, pie crust, hops, flowers and vegetable oil. Tastes the same. Wow! I love the spices and its really good. I cant wait for fall and I must get some more of this. brewblackhole (1386), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 16, 2007 The spices dominate the aroma, you get a noseful of cinnamon, clovess, nutmeg,so much you almost need to sneeze, pumpkin pie spices are what the flavor is all about some actual pumpkin flavor and sweet malt, with touches of alcohol floating around there, little bit of bitterness in finish, loses something by being sipped in the middle of July, maybe more of a Christmas ale, but as far as something with pumpkin, yeah its the best. | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 4, 2007 This is the best Pumpkin Ale around! Hands down!! Every year I run the gamut of Pumpkin ales/beers. Nothing comes close! From Weyerbacher, it runs a very, very close second to Imperial Raspberry Stout. bp (484), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jun 10, 2007 A dark orange colored beer. The aroma is like fresh baked pumpkin pie (Even though I hate to eat pumpkin pie I do like the way it smells) Also some cloves and cinammon. The flavor is like walking around with a pumpkin on your head and feeding yourself ginger bread man cookies through the mouth hole. Uhhh yeah, some alcohol shows through in the finish. This has to be one of the best pumpkin beers out there, well if not I’d be impressed by whatever would beat it out. Suttree (2750), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Cloudy brownish orange. Smells like ginger snaps. Or ginger bread. Some sort of baked ginger good, anyway. Notes of ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg in the flavors. Crisp and spicy all the way through. Nice and spicy with out being overbearing. Thanks to john_adam2002 for the trade! Saarlander (1589), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2007 Aroma is great, lots of clove, Pours with a decent head, nice color. On the first sip, it seems watery, but as it warms the flavors come out, clove, cinnamon, just realized its 8%. Very drinkable, decent.
