| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 6, 2006 22 oz bottle (Beers of the World, Rochester NY, October 2006) shared with my friend Kathy at her house in Minneapolis, early October 2006, cellar temp out of a Corsendonk glass. Clear dark amber with a bit of lacing, light tan super-creamy lasting head....really quite spicy pumpkin-pie aroma, the sweetness melding with a more aromatic, pungeng Afghan curried pumpkin notes, lots of anise and nutmeg but also coriander and perhaps turmeric, complex and invigorating....not so exciting on the tongue, though the thick maltiness works well; alcohol is moderately apparent, acerbic spicing is a bit too much and makes it a bit tough to drink....low to moderate carbonation, dry finish. Overall quite nice and among the best products I’ve had from these guys. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 4, 2006 22oz bottle. Pours a orange color with a nice thick off white head that lingers for a little while. The aroma is of spice like nutmeg, ginger, clove, cinnamon, and some hops. Taste is quite nice, just enough, clove, ginger, nutmeg, malt, slightly spicy. On the dry side and medium bodied. Pleasantly surprised! Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 4, 2006 (Bottle 65 cl) Clear, dark amber with a small, of-white head. Aroma of cinnamon and cardamom. Medium body with lightly sweet caramel notes and a distinct spicyness with also the cloves showing. Some warming alcohol in the finish. Pure pumpkin pie in a bottle, but actually rather complex and interesting. 011206 Ungstrup (15371), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 3, 2006 A hazy amber beer with a light brown head. The aroma has very strong notes of pumpkin, but also cinnamon. The flavor is sweet malty, but again with very strong notes of both pumpkin and cinnamon, leading to a slightly dry and spicy end. A bit overdone for my liking. joergen (8627), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 2, 2006 22 oz bottle. Deep brown amber beer. Great aroma of dark malts, brown sugar and light alcoholic aroma among the sweet nutmeg, clove and cinnamon spices. Spices taste very fresh and well extracted. Bready malts in back with nice vianna/munich malt complexity Flavour is great, sweet toasty malts, pumpkin and pie spice flavour throughout. No woodiness. A hint of ginger in addition to the normal nutmeg, clove and cinnamon. Light earthy bitterness. Probably the best pumpkin beer I’ve ever had.
