Mar 27, 2004 A solid IPA. Not a favorite IPA of mine, but a solid offering nonetheless. It seems a tad less hoppy than other IPAs, but it does have a nice underlying roasty/buttery/almost popcorn buttery flavor. A very interesting brew.

Nov 18, 2002 This has the same crazy complex fruity malt flavor as their ESB (and as Yards’ ales, for that matter). Very nice hop character with lots of Cascades. Unfortunately, this one nauseates me, just like their ESB. Others may love this.

Sep 18, 2002 First impression was that this was almost a clone of victory. Totally different from thier hops infusion. Head was ok, and color is deep orange/light amber color. Great beer- my fav from weyerbacher

Sep 8, 2002 This is a very flavorful brew! An excellent creation by this up and coming micro-brew. The head is a fluffy beigh bed of soft bubbles that creates a nice flow of lacelets around the glass. The aroma is slightly citrusy with a nod towards a woody or piney scent. Theer is once again just a bit too much carbonation, but not as noticeable as in their Scoth Ale. The color is a cloudy copper orange. The flavor is plentiful though. Buttery, creamy, slighly sweet, but also a great blend of hops to offset the sweetness. No sweet or bitter aftertaste, just one of smoothness. I like this beer alot. The high carbonation prevents this beer from being a homerun in my book, but otherwise a great IPA.

Jun 14, 2002 Paprika color with a slight chill haze in the body. Huge off white head. This beer was super carbed! Aroma of lawn clippings with a heavy oily odor as well. Burn chocolate flavor with a cloying bitterness that fights with the malt for flavor supremacy. An unbalanced beer. I hope this was just a case of getting a bad bottle.
