Not terribly complex, but pretty tasty as a session ale. hopdog (5611), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2005 Poured a dark amber/copper color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of pine, spices, and caramel. Aromas where not over powering in the hoppy sense. Medium bitter with a malt balance. Softer tastes of caramel, citrus and a light smoky finish. Thinner body. Not a typical IPA, but quite drinkable (would make a good session beer). CaptainCougar (5524), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 28, 2005 Pours a clear copper orange with a forthy, nicely-lacing white head. Has a dry, earthy, semi-tart hoppy aroma. Starts with some dry caramel maltiness, but has some vegetable character among a touch of citrusy hops. I’m not a big fan of the vegetable flavor and I think this needs more balance. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 27, 2004 A solid IPA. Not a favorite IPA of mine, but a solid offering nonetheless. It seems a tad less hoppy than other IPAs, but it does have a nice underlying roasty/buttery/almost popcorn buttery flavor. A very interesting brew. BBB63 (4267), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 25, 2004 Bottle: Hazy light copper hue with initial large fomay head which settles into a long lasting ring and good lace. The aroma has notes of piney and grasyy hops, butnt and caramel malts, a touch of clove and earthy yeast esters. The taste starts very balanced and smooth, good malts character with the bitters. The finish displays a spicy note, some yeasty and chalky undertones, and a smoky twang. Good depth for a basic IPA. The feel is very crisp and bold, yet not over the top. Overall, an above average IPA with perfect balance, not a bunch of hop juice. Thanks DocLock for the surprise. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

Malty sweet with cirtus and floral hops. Flavors of toffee and apricot with light butterscotch. Bitter and light alc finish. egajdzis (3636), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 14, 2006 Poured a copper color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus fruits, wood, and caramel malts. Taste of citrus fruits, with some light tartness, caramel, tinny abrasiveness, and low bitterness.
