slight head, dark amber appearance. nose is of vanilla and malt. flavor is very sweet with initial sugary malt character with quickly arriving oak and vanilla tones. a nicely complex beer, but the oak aging ends up dominating. I imagine the blithering idiot is superior

Tap at Barcade. Hazy orange-amber beer. Fine-laced white head. Aroma is quite rich and sweet. Nutty malts, light rum-raisin, plum and sweet apricot. A bit of bourbony sweetness, some toasted malt and a vanilla/cherry soda-like flavour. Brown sugar, some strong oak and toffee. Sweetish, but with enough woody character to change it up a bit. Rich and well-balanced. Lots of bourbony sweetness up against the soft herbal bitterness and other sweet malts. Tasty.

A kick in the mouth! Whoa, this is definitely insane. Vanilla, coconut, whiskey nose.. very sweet! No head. Tastes is wood, vanilla, bourbon, and maybe some sugary fruits. Sipping beer. Wakes you up, alcohol notes were present. One of the most interesting beers Ive had, def not for everyone.

Big Bottle vintage 07’. This barley one poures little to no head. Amber red color and aroma of scotch and oak. The flavor is kinda plain, and the finish is all alcohol. Not that bad of a barley wine, I think it could of been aged for a little bit lager, i mean longer. Not bad would drink again with age. Insane beer, thanks again Tikie, You the man dawg now.

Pours a ruby orange with a creamy one finger orange head. The aroma was sweet, bourbon, malty, alcohol, English. The flavor is smooth and full, bourbon vanilla notes, alcohol, a bit waxy. Full palate and smooth warm alcohol with a lasting bourbon flavor.
