The flavor was sweet with fruit like apple, banana, and pear with a touch of maltyness. Overall, this one surprised me with its smoothness and drink ability. chandler0201 (341), Durham, North Carolina, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 18, 2008 12 oz bottle - Pours a fairly clear yellow/orange color with a medium sized pure white head. Aroma is fairly estery, with notes of bananna and pear, light crispy caramel, creamy, touch of grains of paradise. Flavor is light and crisp, with lightly kilned malts, touch of honey and light caramel, hint of bananna. Finish is mildly sweet. Overally pretty good. Not amazing, but pretty good. santos999 (318), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 10, 2008 Clear gold body with a minimal fizzy head. Smells bready, spicy, nutty, and citric. The taste is overly sweet, with apple, pear, slight vinegar, caramel, peppery, clove, rye, and butterscotch notes. Effervescent mouthfeel. I like it more aged. Not a bad beer, but certainly nothing special. TheCaptain (555), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured an orange yellow with white head. Yeast and sugar in the aroma into the pallet. Carbonation sweet and a little sourness. Crisp but not a thriller.
