Commercial Description:
Formerly Weyerbacher Belgian Triple.
At Weyerbacher we've recreated a Belgian Trippel without limitation. We use premium Pilsener malts, candi-sugar, and yeast strains- all imported from Belgium. To be true to the style, our Trippel is bottle conditioned. This means we add a bit of candi-sugar and yeast just prior to bottling. This imparts a special effervescence to the beer, a creamier carbonation, and also extends the shelf life. The on-going fermentation inside the bottle will change the character of the beer as it ages, and you'll find it becomes dryer with age. You may want to lay down a few bottles for future evaluation. We suggest storing at cellar temperatures -around 55 degrees F- and away from light.

bottle. pours cloudy amber moderate white head. great aroma - fruity musty yeast. taste brings in banana and tart orange. mild bitter hop and just the right bite from the alcohol. unlike many tripels this one is crisp, not cloying. more akin to the belgain golden ale mentioned on the label. this one is a keeper, i’ll have to throw some in the cellar.

Malty, yeasty and fruity aroma and on the palate. The alcohol taste is there but no overwhelming. Easy to find in my area so it is regularly in my refrigerator.

Aslightly cloudy golden yellow color with a thin head. A citrus aroma. There was aslight alcohol aroma and taste, but masked pretty well. There is an initial crisp bite with a smooth creamy sweet finish of molasses. This is a very good beer with a variety of flavors
