May 7, 2007 Come out looking like a thin tripel. Slightly peachy soft amber, a little haze, but not much. The head is lacking for the style as well. Thin, frothy, white. the aroma is pretty sweet, some dryness, bubblegum. Has a sweet superficial Belgian taste. Some spice and warm dry alcohol. The palate is thin for an abbey beer. the finish was pretty dry. The alcohol is evident in every aspect.

May 3, 2007 Hazy, deep copper body with minimal white head. Strong phenolic smell of pepper and mustard and some sweet honey. Flavour of honey, maple, toasted biscuits, herbs, phenols, orange peel, and ripe banana. Sweet and slightly sticky mouthfeel.

Apr 24, 2007 Clear golden in body and filled with lively miniature bubbles, this has a creamy white head that interestingly laces not at all. The nose is sweet with citrus fruit and honey, spicy with clove and white pepper, and yeasty. Very creamy, light mouthfeel. Apr 18, 2007 Aroma is sweet and malty with some nice spice and wine notes. Flavor is strong, but smooth with sweet fruits, spice, and a hint of hops. There is a definite alcohol presence, but it is not at all overpowering. A very well balanced ale.

Apr 18, 2007 Malty, sugary, marshmellowy aroma. Pours light blonde with a thin white head that doesn’t last. Malty, sugary, marshmellow, brown sugar, some citrus, some hop spice. Good but not great.

Apr 16, 2007 This beer has a nice amber color to it and pours no head to it at all. There is a lot of carbonation and has a smell of clove and citrus. There is a big bite to it and has a hoppy taste with a hint of fruits.

Apr 16, 2007 Pours a clear gold with a fizzy white head and highly active carbonation. Smells of banana, clove, citrus (grapefuit), honey and yeast. The taste is very sugary, like candy apples, with spices and fruit, mostly banana. The booze is hidden very well, but mostly by the sugar. I like that the typical belgian CO2 bomb is toned down. Warms the cockles. Not as complex as other abbeys, but its lack of complexity is made up for by its smooth carbonation and creamy mouthfeel.

Apr 16, 2007 12oz- Clear gold liquid, fizzy head. Bananas and graham crackers on nose. banana on palate along with an alcohol warmth. Nice.
