Commercial Description:
Formerly Weyerbacher Belgian Triple.
At Weyerbacher we've recreated a Belgian Trippel without limitation. We use premium Pilsener malts, candi-sugar, and yeast strains- all imported from Belgium. To be true to the style, our Trippel is bottle conditioned. This means we add a bit of candi-sugar and yeast just prior to bottling. This imparts a special effervescence to the beer, a creamier carbonation, and also extends the shelf life. The on-going fermentation inside the bottle will change the character of the beer as it ages, and you'll find it becomes dryer with age. You may want to lay down a few bottles for future evaluation. We suggest storing at cellar temperatures -around 55 degrees F- and away from light.

Bottle. Belgian yeast nose is sweeter and dustier than is usual in trips, approaching candy/bubblegum, with notes of banana cream and apricot. Crisp golden pour with a sticky short white head. Full Belgian flavor is a bit cloying, mostly yeast and banana creme pie. Full body with medium alcohol. Banana, spice and yeast finish. A great match to the Thai food in front of me, but not so good on its own.

Well, a Belgian. Im pretty sure this will be good. How it is a 84 is amazing to me. So far the only thing I dont like about this style is the look. They tend to be a little yellowish. Im pretty sure i can get past that to get to the flavor. Really great brew. Oh wait, it’s 9.3% ABV? :BANNED:

Mostly translucent and magnifying, with a pale sunspot yellow color and icy white sheafs at the edges. Pils malt, peppered baguettes and ground cloves crushed on dried out banana peels lead the synchronous aroma. A hint of ginger pomade kneads a somberly sweet bready display. Oily glaze hits the palate with an extra virgin olive oil smear. Buttery meringue has a thick banana cream custard implication. Chewy, candi-glazed lemon cream banana danishes remain consistent at all sips. A hint of coriander and cloves warm the throat while liquid ginger spices lightly alongside a cardamom cola hum. Sweet candi rocks heighten the ABV zing while banana cheesecake gets drizzled with decorative, blanched caramel syrup. Diminishing effervescence, but the body stays chewy and dry, all through the sweet gingered banana and cardamom finish.

Fresh from the brewery! Insert Homer like" Woo Hoo" here. 12 oz bottle: Pours a hazy gold with lazy quicky dissipating head. Wandreing carbonation relaxes the eye as the sweet malty nose enlivens your anticipation. Mouth is crisp and spicy that travels front to rear of toung and lingers and then returns to front sou/quick crisp bitter. Nice creamy shortlived body that ends pleasantly.. Alcohol is present at 9.3% but in no way overwhelming. Two of these equal sweet dreams even when concious.

Bottle. Lemon-gold color. Thick 3" head (mainly from a bad pour) that loudly and quickly erodes. Wheaty, yeasty, banana hints. More complex taste than expected. it lingers on the tongue and back of the thraot for 10-15 seconds. Dry, bitter, lemony, yeasty. Solid delivery for a beer I bought a while ago and forgot in the back of the fridge.

Bottle. Pours a pale golden color, with a smallish off white head. Aroma is bubble gum, yeast, malt. Flavor is banana, yeast, alcohol, malts. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, crisp, sweet-spicy finish. Nothing too exciting here.

Pours pale golden with a small head. Sweet, yeasty, cherry? aroma. Flavor is alcohol, cough syrup, cherries, some citrus, and a spicy ending. Full bodied. Eh, not great.
