Its taste had a citrusy-malty tone to it and it seems to pride itself on its sweetness factor. It wasn’t a bad brew but to me its kind of like the last of the candy beers Wyebacher put out until it kicked major butt with its Quad, Prophecy and Herecy brews (Decadence?). ontario102 (794), Boise, Idaho, USA

Pours cloudy amber with a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is doughy, a little alcohol, and a bit of green apple. Flavor is of yeast, some apples, pears, bannanas. On the palate the mouthfeel of this is good. Some nice carbonation makes it feel a bit like champagne. Crisp and clean on the palate and medium bodied. Pretty tasty tripel in American style. Enjoyable. dfremen (4), USA does not count | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 5, 2005 floral, dough, alcohol, golden, cloudy, aminimal head, fizzy, long finish, medium body, roder60 (1027), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma is sugared candies, orange, and other citrus. Taste is very tart citrus, almost like a cider, then mellows into an orangey citrus sweetness. First time I had this beer it didn’t appeal to me. Now a few years later I tried it again and really really liked it. Bit watery on the front end but nice alcohol malt presence on the back. Two of these and you are done for the night. Pours a slightly cloudy light orange with pink hues, had an excellent white head with fabulous retension (this thing stacked up 1-2 inches above the rim). Aroma of mixed berries and citrus (lemons and raspberries mostly), combined with yeast. Flavor is berry fruit (raspberries again), thicker smoother fruits as well, bananas, pears, yeast. Lively mouthfeel from solid carbonation.
