Poured a honey/amber color with a smallish creamy white head. Aroma was lightly hoppy with floral, citrus, grass and wheat. Flavor really turned it on with floral notes followed by a nice lemony finish. Will definintely be buying this one again. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA

ABV, Volume & Calories: 6.2 % in 22 fl oz. estimated at 300 C
Purchased at: Canal’s Lawrenceville, NJ for $1.66
Aroma: nice, flowery, wheat, rice, hay, dust, mold, field, grass.
Visuals: wacky label, sunset at harvest, pale, orange, brilliant at first pour, hazy after, wispy head stays, loose lace.
Taste: unbalanced, corn, barley, rice, little hops, subtle, delicious.
Palate: silky, smooth, tea, light, crisp finish.
Overall: A very nice light saison. I’ve had it a few times now, and I enjoy it. I prefer stronger brews, but this is a nice, lighter session brew. Unbelievable value for the price. Oakes (8115), Kowloon, Hong Kong

Very dusty, rustic nose, lightly fecal, peppery, saaz/styrian and lots of pale malt. Spicy, herbal, peppery body with a bit of a stiff alcohol signature. Slightly floral. Full body. Complex, meaty, yet refreshing. Old-timey. PorterPounder (3147), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Pours a delightful murky deep orange with a soft, pillowy, sticky white head. Delicate yeasty aroma with just a hint of lemon. Flavor is thirst quenching and delicious. Pick up some peaches, butter, lemon, yeasty back end, hints of cookie dough. Thick, smooth mouthfeel, Quickly becoming one of my favorite styles - and a definite winner from one of my new favorite brewers. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Spicy fruit-like aromas warm to hints of peppered bread. Earthy fruit cream flavors balance on nutty wheat and pepper-like tones. Medium bodied, medium carbonation , light fruity finish. Always passed this up due to the low scores, but now will seek this batch out for those summer grilling days and nights. Refreshing and summery... Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

Enjoyable. johnmal85 (3), , Florida, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 22, 2009 Bought this in Florida for $5.69 at 22 ounces. Attractive labeling, with a semi-pleasing pour. Head is nice, almost milky foam yet retains some bubbling. I am not a fan of beers with large bubbling, seeming slightly over-carbonated. Aroma is nice and wheaty, with a dominance of alcohol. The aroma also has a bite of grassy hops in the beginning, with a finish of sweetness. The look of the beer is somewhat akin to an unfiltered wheat. The taste comes carbonated on the tongue, progressing into sweetness topped with hops, and finally maturing to an alcohol infused malted, slightly bitter finish. Overall, a decent brew. Not a flagship beer, but should be at least in the 70th percentile, not 46. nuplastikk (1218), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
