A really good beer. Papsoe (15109), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Some chocolate aroma, light dirty water too. Medium bodied, it has a soft chocolate flavor, some roasted malt, but it doesn’t seduce me. argo0 (7018), Washington DC, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 13, 2003 Pitch body topped by medium mocha head. Aroma is strongly espresso. Taste is coffee bitter with small amount of chocolate that provides a mild sweetness -- alcohol unnoticed. The body is fairly light despite the viscosity of the pour. Ridiculously drinkable for the style and the alcohol content.
