Bottle. Pours hazy hold with a white head. The aroma is fruity, with peach, orange, and pineapple. The flavor brings definite bourbon notes, as well as peach, spices and peppermint. Very different, very interesting.

12oz bottle, getting on two years old. At first pour this was brutal, but as its warmed its opened up and has turned into a fairly decent beer. Pour is a great gold with almost no head. Aroma is intense and very fruity, tons of esters, some booze and some toothpaste. Body is pretty thin, and some of that bourbon comes through in the flavor and blocks a lot of notes. Overall a bit tough to drink though not the massive failure I was expected by any means.

22, capped, thanks to ??? at the recent tasting. Pours clear dark gold with a white ring of foam. Lightly sour apple aroma, maybe with some butterscotch behind it? Light body moderate carbonation. Lightly sour and hot finish. This vaguely reminds me of a old cold and cough remedy: 1 jigger hot water; one jigger lemon juice, one jigger honey and one jigger bourbon. Tastes pretty much the same, except for the lower temperature in this one. I almost want to heat it up.

22, capped. Cloudy medium amber with bright gold highlights. Virtually headless, laceless. No legs. Mild, orangey, a little bit of biscuit. Subued tart finish.

65o ml. Cloudy pale orange gold with a bottle gush that flits away and settles to a nice small ring of cream. Aroma is butterscotch, apple and alcohol. Wow taste is cherry-apple-butterscotch coughdrop like I have never tasted in a beer before. It’s actually not bad, but OMG sweet fruity alcohol with a lot of chest warming; I should have saved this one for a winter-time sinus infection. I like the lightly carbonated, light-medium body with gum-tingly alcohol. Actually very drinkable for all the sweetness and alcohol.

22oz Bottle. Pours a light gold color with tight white head that disappears quickly and leaves some lacing around the glass. Aroma is oak, bourbon, bread dough, and some fruitiness. Taste is very nice, up front you get hit with a quick burst of grapes then it moves into the mellow flavors of wood and bourbon. It all ends rather cleanly with a nice dry finish much like a glass of champaign. Mouthfeel is very dry with a bit of tangyness from the alcohol and carbonation. This is a very nicely brewed beer, I enjoyed it very much and will be recommending it to friends.

22oz bottle. Gusher. Poured a clear golden color. Head was white with good retention and lacing. Aroma was of champaign, light yeasty bread dough with a light woody note. I didn’t smell any bourbon. Tart fruitiness throughout joined by some sugars toward the end. Relatively smooth mouth feel with less prickly carbonation than I had expected given the opening gush. I tasted champaign, apple juice, and grape juice, but again, no bourbon. There was also a hint of biscuity malt which reminded me that this was actually beer. Light to medium bodied. Tasted like a combination of apple juice, champaign, and beer. Not a favorite of mine.

not one of my favorites by this company. Too much sweetness in my opinion. Not awful just rather try others
