Pours a murky light purple color with no head. Aroma of yeast, funk, and some raspberry. Tart and sour flavor with some raspberry and oak. Still young. Will likely improve as it ages.

Thanks to Cletus for this one. Comes in a Belgian style 750. Dated 2009. Pours a nice ruddy copper with a temporary white head. Nice aroma of lightly sour cherry. If I try hard, I get raspberry. Medium body with decent carbonation. Flavor is medium sour, and now raspberry. The oak comes out as the raspberry leaves. It is a really good ale. Drinks a treat.

Bottle shared by kmweaver on 7/17/08: Pours a hazy copper orange with a stringy-lacing froth of off-white head. Aroma of sweet biscuity malt and fruity semi-tart berry and oaky notes. Body starts with good fruity sweetness and effervescent carbonation and oaky complexity with a touch of warmth and cheesy character. Finishes drier and slightly warming. Pretty good, but could be a little more authentic.

750 ml bottle courtesy of TheEpeeist. 2008 Vintage. Thanks, Chris! Pours a well carbonated ruby red copper, very bright, like a sunset over the water, red with an offwhite carbonation driven head that dies to a small layer, laces pretty much non existently. Aromas are sour cherries and raspberries, apple juice, some wet oak and vanilla, a fizzy carbonation, some sweeter citrusy juice quality. Strawberries and a touch of grape, not real tannin-filled, instead feeling sweeter on the nose. Initial is lighter side of medium bodied, a good acidic sourness, wet oak, apple juice, citrus, some light sour raspberries, with a touch of grape. Wet oak comes in decent amount, vanilla and decent carbonation on the palate. Acidity and oak stick to the palate, a lighter sweet caramel and a bit of toffee, fruit juice and just a little funk, raspberries in tart feel. A touch of funk comes moreso, alcohol settles in with a decent warming quality on the backend that aids a little in the heartburn, very dry almost like champagne. Very fruity, not as sour as anticipated (though still enjoyable), sweeter, but with decent oak and some light funkiness and sourness. Fairly boozy. Not a bad beer. Vanilla and yogurt noticeable in the aftertaste and sticking.

2009 edition. pours a dark amber with little head. Overwhelming fruity nose reminiscent of jellied fruit. Sweet raspberry flavor with a nice balance of wild sourness. Very nice beer. Don’t know why its rated so low.

Tasty. The pour was a light brownish purple with moderate head and no lacing. The aroma was awesome...sweet raspberries. The flavor was a nice blend of raspberry sweetness with some lambic like horseblanket funk. Solid.

Delightful raspberry aroma from a reddish brown pour with a big head that disappears quickly. Flavor is very wine like with the sour funk really setting this off. Nice sour finish with a nice alcohol burn.

750ml. berry aroma, obvious raspberry with a hint of dough/yeast. Taste is very yeasty, berries obvious again but not that sour. Not that great
