Commercial Description:
A long time classic that is the original brew made by Whatcom Brewery. It is a real nice dark beer with complex flavor that is smooth and easy to drink. If you don't like dark beers, this one may change your mind.

Very solid porter offered from the little brewery up in Ferndale. Pours a very dark mahogony with a medium white head. The malts are nice and smokey, there is ample amounts of espresso thrown in there, and the mouthfeel is round and chocolatey. Some sticky vinous notes in the aroma with a light alchohol character. Nothing new here, but nonetheless their most solid beer offered at April Brews Day.
