I was just about to wonder how a beer made in whistler could taste like something other than starbucks, suvs, and filthy lucre when I realized-oh, it’s made in Kamloops. Seriously, though, this was a good ale. And Whistler is a very pleasant place year round. MrRoss (617), Delta, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 15, 2009 Pouring an attractive amber hue paired with a so-so off-white head, I was treated to a chiefly malted aroma. Nicely malted was the taste, with a most agreeable mouthfeel and aftertaste. I did indeed like this beer, as ’twas not a watery pale ale like so many others. Bradrcr (781), Renton, Washington, USA

Aroma is malt forward, with a sweet biscuit tone, fairly light in intensity, but still with a good noble hop flora. Appearance is clear gold with a well maintained white head and good lacing. Flavor is sweet caramel malt forward with strong roast that merges with medium noble bittering. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a starchy finish and medium carb texture. Overall, a good bready roast character for a fairly light English pale. DuffMan (2764), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Sep 16, 2007 Clear golden amber with a moderate, off-white head leaving no lace. Very nutty aroma. Nice toffee malts and earthy english hops with a mildly bitter finish. This was really great (english-style ales and true bitters are a rare breed here in Canada), but unfortunatly it seemed quite watered down. Still a very drinkable english ale. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 9, 2006 Bright copper colour. Light caramel and earthy English hop aroma. Light bitterness and a sligth caramel accent. Vaguely earthy finish. Clean, smooth. A somewhat "mainstream micro" character, it’s enjoyable when very fresh but may not translate well after a month or two on the shelves. BillKismet (1944), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 15, 2009 Amber color with firm, thin head. Crisp and clean English hop aroma with a sweet honey malt note. Body is a good mix of grainy malt and restrained, but balanced Britt hops with a bittersweet grainy finish. This is actually a quite sessionable English Style Pale Ale, one of the better ones I’ve had. Hooker (450), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
