Dark golden colour and a thin white head. Aroma was malty with light hints of hops coming out. Flavour is sweet light sugary honey hints. Decent body, not too watery.

Golden with a good sized dirty white head. OK macro lager aromas, cardboard and sourdough..no its not that bad! Taste seems to have a little more going on, there seems to be a nice biscuity maltiness, and a tangible bitterness..I take that is from the hops? Not bad on the palate, just above average for style. Overall not a bad little lager.

Shared by HogTownHarry with Blankboy and I. Appearance: Light orange/straw with a small dirty white head. Aroma: Butter, grass, kind of like toast with butter on it wiped on grass clippings. Flavour: Butter, grass, plastic, vanilla.

Bottle ( 341ml ). Shared by blankboy with me a garthicus. Oily looking pale gold, clear, with a large fluffy white lasting head. Dry grassy aroma, somewhat sweet, some plastic. Taste is fairly harsh - weedy and background sweet, stale even - unpleasant. Light body, mild carbonation, and that harshness just builds on your tongue and doesn’t go away. Not good.

2009 Bottle - Pours clear golden with a small white head...aroma is old grain and some hay...flavour is similar, lightly burnt bread and almost rotten grain, malty with a faint lingering bitterness...

Tap @ BBF: Pale gold, light hop accent and husky grain notes in the nose. Flavor is malty with some toast and light biscuit; vague husk and a bit of hop bitterness. Clean-ish tasting with a lasting impression of toast. I could drink again.

LCBO. Not bad for this normally weak style. Wafted cheese smell on the pour. Very yellow body with some lace. Bit thin mouthfeel. The yeast brings out a maltiness on the sugar side, with a tad of a Saaz-like salty hop.
