OK macro lager aromas, cardboard and sourdough..no its not that bad!
Taste seems to have a little more going on, there seems to be a nice biscuity maltiness, and a tangible bitterness..I take that is from the hops?
Not bad on the palate, just above average for style.
Overall not a bad little lager. robforbes (1094), Bremerton, Washington, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 19, 2009 Bottle ( 341ml ). Shared by blankboy with me a garthicus. Oily looking pale gold, clear, with a large fluffy white lasting head. Dry grassy aroma, somewhat sweet, some plastic. Taste is fairly harsh - weedy and background sweet, stale even - unpleasant. Light body, mild carbonation, and that harshness just builds on your tongue and doesn’t go away. Not good. ditmier (1089), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 8, 2009 Tap @ BBF: Pale gold, light hop accent and husky grain notes in the nose. Flavor is malty with some toast and light biscuit; vague husk and a bit of hop bitterness. Clean-ish tasting with a lasting impression of toast. I could drink again. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 25, 2009 LCBO. Not bad for this normally weak style. Wafted cheese smell on the pour. Very yellow body with some lace. Bit thin mouthfeel. The yeast brings out a maltiness on the sugar side, with a tad of a Saaz-like salty hop.
