Draught (not a real ale) at ’Archers’, Osborn str, London, UK. Dark red - light mahogany, almost clear, little sparkle, thin off-white head. Malty and a bit burned aroma, very light herbal. Smooth, sweetish taste with a rather assertive citrus tartiness (or is it a poorly kept installation?) and a gentle but lingering bitterness. Soapy palate, weak carbonation.

Canned: Medium amber clear under a medium size and surprisingly long lasting yellowish white head. Faint roasted malt with hints of wood and something floral aroma. Medium smooth low carb body. Medium bitter and lighter fruity sweeter malt flavours. Bitter flavour becomes weaker as it warms. Lacks character but I suspect the draft would be more interesting.

Can. Amber bronze, thin moderately lasting white head and moderate condition. Low fruity caramel aromas, thin in the mouth with traces of fruity caramel and a sweet toffee finish.
