Dark red - light mahogany, almost clear, little sparkle, thin off-white head. Malty and a bit burned aroma, very light herbal. Smooth, sweetish taste with a rather assertive citrus tartiness (or is it a poorly kept installation?) and a gentle but lingering bitterness. Soapy palate, weak carbonation. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 10, 2002 Canned: Medium amber clear under a medium size and surprisingly long lasting yellowish white head. Faint roasted malt with hints of wood and something floral aroma. Medium smooth low carb body. Medium bitter and lighter fruity sweeter malt flavours. Bitter flavour becomes weaker as it warms. Lacks character but I suspect the draft would be more interesting. Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark
