May 23, 2007 Unretired, 440ml can(s), Morrisons. Pours deep ruby with a creamy yellowish head that sticks around. Biscuity malt prevails with notes of chocolate and malted milk. The subtlest hint of roast and just enough sourish woodiness to keep you lifting the glass. Creamy palate. Shames bottled beers twice its strength. More 2.6% beers please that don’t compromise on body or flavour. Tasty Mild.

Jul 8, 2007 Updated: Jul 11, 2007(draught keg in Baiborne Lees) not retired apparently. Dark brown with hints of red, small off white head. Malt aroma. Mild biscuit malt flavor. Actually not a bad session beer - I think it’s underrated here.

May 29, 2005 (draft) No head at all, but somehow managed to have very good lacing. A hint of caramel in the flavor. A slightly lagerish finish but not too fizzy. Not bad at all.

Nov 1, 2002 I had the canned version and it wasn’t bad at all. Yes, it is light in flavour and alcohol, but sometimes that is just what is wanted.

Oct 28, 2007 Can. Clear, copper body, and a beige head. Malty-sweet aroma, with caramel, but it is quite weak. The same goes for the flavor, but it is a bit more evident. Considering the low ABV, it is a nice one, but I would prefer it beefed up a bit, and a fuller body. (070914)

Feb 22, 2005 Canned. A decent aroma of caramel and maybe some sweet toffee. The appearance is a buttery brown with a creamy ’smoothflow’ head. The taste is difficult to find as it is very thin. However there is a little caramel sweetness as it warms up. It’s a bit like a sweet Shandy Bass in a way; beer for the playground.
