Cask (as Turf Tavern Summer Ale) at Turf Tavern, Oxford. Shiny copper with a fine dense layer of persistant white. Warm marmalade and cinnamon aroma, a little bit of estery pineapple. Fresh out of the oven biscuit flavor, spicy marmalade hops. Yum.

This was a bit of a poor show, infactr there was very little bitter about it. Aroma is malty and a bit skunky, maybe to do with the clear glass bottle. Taste is similar a bit like a shoe that doesnt fit anyones foot?

Gravity at The Wellington, Birmingham. Orange colour, with a big aerated foamy head when poured which dissipates quickly. Very strong scents of citrus and malt. In the mouth it was rather vinegary, with some grass and straw. I don’t know whether this was going off, but it seemed rather sweet to me.

Very bitter, like a Durham beer in aroma, but not as squashy. Very bubbling in the head, but not like jelly in this case.

Cask conditioned @ Guide Dog, Soton. Originally brewed as a special for the Turf Tavern in Oxford but now with a slightly wider distribution. Malty aroma and light floral hops, not sweet and gently bitterness. Simple but well done.
