Named after the Roman goddess of the white horse, this brand-new beer is making its début at this JDW beer festival. Mid brown in colour, with a slight biscuity flavour, complemented by the blend of English hops, this beer has a full and balanced flavour throughout. Hops used: Fuggles, Goldings

Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Amber with white head. Bready fruity beer with a full on malt body, slightly darker roasted and with a malty sweetness. Rich with some toffee notes and a flowery hop finish, a very decent Bitter indeed.

Clear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, coffee notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090716]

Cask @ Willow Walk, JDW, Victoria SW1. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty nutty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

Amber color; thin creamy head. Light malt and caramel aroma. It has a smooth caramel flavor, light residual sweetness, good body and bold bitterness. Not vibrant, but well brewed.

Cask, Lord keeper of the Great Seal, Oadby . Amber with a small head. Aromas are earthy with spices, especially cinnamon. Some sweet malts. Flavours are sweet toffee malts with raisins and earthy, spicy hops. Decent.
