Sep 11, 2004 I’ve only had this once, when i was in london. This is the best apple cider in the world no doubt, gets you hammered and is better than most beer.

Mar 16, 2005 All I can say is WOW!! I thought Diamond was good but Lightning is even better. Sweet and refreshing, chem flavor but lacking in the rotten meat taste I love. I’ll forgive it that because the price cant be beat.
I’m stocking up on it!

Nov 24, 2003 Cheap can cider, flavor average. Not something I would drink on a normal basis, the taste is too sharp and not sweet at all.

Mar 14, 2005 Updated: Sep 19, 2006smells absolutly foul, tastes just as bad and has a damned unpleasant metallic quality, makes it into the cider category on a technicality i think, since it does have a squirt of apple flavouring somewhere. But at £2 for 2 litres, it does posses a certain ’face-mashery’ that more expensive brews lack when you only have a tenner.

May 18, 2003 I bought this one often when I lived in Edinburgh. I know it is not something to be proud of, Scrumpy Jack is better, just didnt know it then.

Dec 5, 2005 Bought for its alcohol content and price tag. Gets you drunk quick although it’s not nice getting there.. Tastes like watered down apple drops (sweets).
