Oct 19, 2009 Bottle. Cloudy amber beer with a very strong head. The aroma is floral and hopped, and the flavour is gently hopped and lightly malty. Overall a nice gentle mildly hopped beer.

Mar 21, 2008 Bottle from the Dodgi Deli, Cowley Road, Oxford. Had this 19-03-08 Pours dark amber very clear and with a nice fruity citrus aroma. This has a lovely fruity bitterness nice tingly tang bit drying on the end. This is a really good traditional bitter, like a lot.

Feb 1, 2008 Bottle. Golden brown with a small head. Aromas are sweet toffee malts with ripe pear. Dry tea. Flavours are biscuit and weetabix malts with earthy, bitter dry hops. Peppery with a bitter finish. Quite a traditional bitter.

Small white head. Sour fruit aroma. Mid brown amber coloured fruity and a little sour. Crisp and creamy slightly bitter malt finish.
