Commercial Description:
A golden colored ale with crisp malt character and a slightly spicy hop aroma. We use a good amount of wheat and some German malt in this one to give it a very refreshing taste. Avenue Ale is a true session beer, so sit down and prepare for a long one.

At tap at the Red Station Brew Pub. Poured a medium golden color with a small sized white head. Subtle aromas of a light spiceness and grass. Malty sweet finish. Lively body.

Gold, thin fizzy white head. Nose held weak notes of fruity, nutty, earthy grains. Flavor was a bit better at least with a more pronounced grainy fruity earthiness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry, faintly hopped finish. Non-offensive, but nothing special...

Sampler from the brewpub. Filtered and deep golden. Sparse white head. Slight aroma of bready malts. Smooth and crisp. Touch of soapy hops. Bready dry with a nice citrus hop flavor. Touch of honey in the malts. Decent.

Medium gold, thin lacy head. Butter/diacetyl aroma. Prominent diacetyl, lightly sweet, medium acidity, light bittering. Oilymouth. Butterscotch aftertaste with very light fruit. A mishmash, but barely servicable.
