NomDeBeer (154), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Aug 15, 2008 I had this last year, so I’m just going by handwritten notes from a while back. Attractive copper color, small white head. Floral hop aroma. Flavor is caramel malt and citrus hops with a strange and (near the end of the glass) slightly annoying metallic bitterness in the finish. Still a good beer though. scraff (1667), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Jul 15, 2007 Amber, thin white fizzy head. Soft floral nose with lighter toasted caramel notes. Balanced light citrus and pale caramel malt flavors from start to finish. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry, crisp, light bitter finish. MIght be a good crossover beer for the rookies... sneagrams3 (1447), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Mar 21, 2007 Sampler from the brewpub. Filtered and an amber ruby hue. Skim layer of tight off-white head. Grainy sweet malty aromas. Smooth and crisp with a nice medium bodied palate. Good initial malt flavor. Easy with a good spicy hop finish. Slight lingering flavor. Both the malts and the hops stay with you. Really enjoyed this one! hopscotch (4579), Vero Beach, Florida, USA May 16, 2005 Draft at the 2005 Marlyland Brewers Spring Fest... Clear, amber ale with a small, fizzy, off-white head. The nose is of light caramel and citrus hops. Well-balanced flavor with a touch of grapefruit and toffee. Light to medium-bodied with a mildly creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish.
