Cask draft - A fairly bland tasting beer. No roasted malt flavors detected. The cask pour was nice, but the beer was ok.

Jan 30, 2006 Blackish coffee color. That’s what I can say right now. Need a do-over. Cask poured and might have needed cleaner conditioning and care w/ yeast go awry. Overall consensus was of dirty feet & socks. ... not that I exactly know what that tastes like! :-)

Jan 15, 2006 One of the better Red Brick beers I tried. Aroma is fairly roasty with some sweet cooked dark fruit hints. Cloudy brown/black with a firm tan head. Flavor is quite malty and has lots of raisin, date and toasted grain notes. Decent Schwarz.
