hopdog (4371), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 11, 2007 At tap at the Red Station Brew Pub. Poured a medium orange color with a smaller sized head. Aromas of light blueberries. The blueberries were a lot stronger in the tastes. The aromas were on the tart side whereas the tastes where on the sweeter side. Started of sweet and ended lightly tart. dolemike1 (1105), Owings Mills, Maryland, USA Jun 28, 2006 Purplish color with a light purplish/white head. Aroma of blueberry. Tasted of blueberry, lightly sweet, refreshing, but not something i particularly want to drink every day. Plus the blueberries floating around in the beer looked like deer turds. egajdzis (2879), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 19, 2005 Poured a reddish amber color (ask for this without blueberries and nasty syrup!) with a small, white head, that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of nuts, caramel, and light blueberries. Taste of wheat, grains, subtle blueberries, toffee, and light bitterness in the finish. Pretty refreshing and tasty. argo0 (6018), Washington DC, USA Jun 20, 2004 Sparkling amber (with bubbles rising), topped by persistent white head and served with whole blueberries at bottom of glass. Aroma, is medium sweet, earthy, blueberry present but not dominant. Taste is mild sweet, earthy, mild blueberry. Light-medium body. Well-crafted fruit beer. hopscotch (4379), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Jul 1, 2003 (On tap at Max's on Broadway, Baltimore) Extended RBSG2003
Clear, deep amber brew. Small, white, creamy head with terrific, thick lacing.
I smell yeast, but no fruit. Not much else.
The flavor is very thin... a bit malty and tart, but watered-down. I just don't taste any fruit. Sorry! Still, a well-balanced refreshing Summer brew! Lawnmower beer at best!
Dark, smoky room. Beer is too cold. I'll re-rate sometime!
