For rating #2800, I drove my SUV to Iron River, Wisconsin to acquire this rarity on Labor Day before they might sell out. Pours a clear golden yellow mead with some nice viscosity legs in the wine glass. Aroma has a sweet apple and clover honey scents with a hint of bourbon and vanilla. Taste is sweeter than the regular White Winter Cyser, honey is definitely present and a nice balance of bourbon and caramel in the background. Finish is sweet with a lingering vanilla and mild bourbon aftertaste that slowly disappears. Actually I could have easily detected a character close to a rum/apple and vanilla ice cream flavor if this were a blind tasting. Pretty decent overall.
