CapFlu and Beerbuzz concur with me, I got varnish/nail polish vapors up my nostrils. It was almost like a amalgam of non-descript perfume, like when you walk through the perfume section of a department store. I also got orange peel and that sweet mead smell.
Good alcoholic punch, has a more peachy taste than apples, and the finish is a little flat. A very intersting and rare find, thanks Muzzlehatch for sharing. beerbuzzmontreal (2921), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 25, 2005 Clear, pale yellow. Strong honey aroma, slightly tart and nicely herbal, almost grassy comprising a strong applesauce component. Tart and very sweet at the same time which make it overall enjoyable. It evolves rapidly into a very skinny bitterness (pear skin?). Very sweet, medium oily palate, alcoholic and pleasant. Boutip (2390), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 25, 2005 Bottle: Poured a still deep yellow color cider with sweetness easily detectable in the aroma. Average body with sweet taste probably due to the mix of mead in this cider. Very enjoyable. Thanks to Muzzlehatch for this fine treat. CapFlu (3483), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Light yellow, thin body. Nose of wood and nail polish. Very pleasant, simple and sweet. Very good. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 12, 2004 The apples are dominant in this mead. Much like a cider. This is light and had some carbonation. Taste and aroma of fruit.
