| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 9, 2005 Light sweet aroma. Clear like water. There is the lightest touch of sweet honey at the beginning, by after a second on the tongue the mead is very dry; it is hard to drink very much at all. I missed the lemon/lime. Not bad; but not how I like my mead. jkane (21), USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | May 19, 2005 If you want to know what a dry mead should taste like, try this one. Some people don’t like dry, and won’t like it. It is to style, and is a fantastic beverage. I give this third place in meads from White Winter. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 24, 2005 Almost clear in color. The aroma was tart. Perhaps an ssence of Granny Smiths. Some honey to be expected. Smooth and silky in the mouth. The flavor was a but harsh. Too much alcohol sensation. Not one of their best. JMerritt (1321), Macomb, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 13, 2005 Sampled at Peoria Int’l Beer Festival. Very clear - it looks exactly like water, except for the littlest tinge of yellow. Green apple and clover aroma. Rather tart, with green apple flavor most prevalent. Definitely wine-like, but still very good. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 6, 2004 At White Winter Winery. Yellow Coloring. This One is Very Tart/Sour on the Nose and Tongue...Tangy to the max...and Dry...Little too Sour to Really Enjoy for Myself. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 6, 2004 Sampled at the winery. Clear, light yellow color. Aroma is slightly sour. The taste is a strange mix of sour grapes and honey. Definitely not my favorite mead. I’d say the description linking it to Chardonnay is spot on. Nexxus (261), Apple Valley, Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 9, 2004 Well here goes nothing - another uninformed mead review. Clear and faintly yellow, almost colorless. Aroma of perfume, honey and clover. Light medium water body, no carbonation. Flavor has honey sweetness, tart pomegranate, lemon, alcohol and a perfume that I cannot place. Very wine like, it was pleasing.
