Commercial Description:
Hard apple cider from the Bayfield Peninsula of Wisconsin. Where warm sunny days, and cool, clear nights overlooking the Apostle Islands on the shores of Lake Superior produce the sweetest fruit in the region, all captured in this lightly carbonated beverage. A refreshing alternative to beer or wine, not quite dry but not sweet. Enjoy chilled or warmed with a cinnamon stick.

Bottle pours pale gold. The aroma is apple, and (I have to admit I saw this in an earlier rating and think it is spot on) wet pavement? Weird. The flavor is cider, dryness, somewhat sour, and (here I go again) Flintstone vitamins. I’m not sure why I taste this again as I did a few ratings ago, but this time it is not pleasant. Meh, serious meh. I never should have tasted La Face Cachée de la Pomme Neige Ice Cider before this one. This is nowhere near the same galaxy as that one. Overall, just meh.

Lifeless ultra pale yellow with no head. Aroma of apple peel, not much else. Taste of apples with a tart and dry finish. Not bad for a cider.

Pour was light golden with with a fluffy white head. Aroma was somewhat sour yet still sweet. Flavor was very much sour apple, cinnamon, and light honey. Had some earthy tones to it. Pretty decent but I don’t know my ciders very well. I would drink again.

12oz bottle. Poured a clear light golden color with a fizzy, rapidly disappearing white head. Smelled interesting, but not like any cider I have ever tried. There was funky brie cheese, wet pavement, and paper mache. Oh, there was also a whiff of apple, but not much. Fairly effervescent and tart. Did it taste like apple? Yes, wormy, rotten apple. There was also a hint of out of place tomato juice. Bad news.

Apple crisp on the nose - tart apple, cinnamon, and crust. Apple with a very earthy taste in the body. Bitter on the body.

Picked up at the White Winter Winery while the roads were icy from Lake Superior fog. Pours a near-clear white table wine with a clean body and top disk. Aroma of very tart apples with flour dough. Flavor is tart with some sour Granny Smith apple taste. Soft finish.

Bottle thanks to Santa: Pale yellow in color, short lasting white fizzy head. Aroma, very mild aroma of apples. Flavor, tart, some slightly sour apple taste, metallic on the finish. This is not good.

very very pale tint of yellow. a bit of lace. aroma of Macintosh apples, clean refreshing, very drinkable. Not a huge cider fan, but this isn’t bad. Especially good in warmer weather. Short aftertaste is a bit metalic. But that fades before the apple taste does. Got this at the Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, WI and brought it home.
