Commercial Description:
Hard apple cider from the Bayfield Peninsula of Wisconsin. Where warm sunny days, and cool, clear nights overlooking the Apostle Islands on the shores of Lake Superior produce the sweetest fruit in the region, all captured in this lightly carbonated beverage. A refreshing alternative to beer or wine, not quite dry but not sweet. Enjoy chilled or warmed with a cinnamon stick.

Aroma was very odd in this; chapstick, herbal, medicinal & rotten with hints of bitter root and cinnamon. Flavor is not very sweet and is also rather offensive. Finishes with a lingering reminder of drain pour. This was not a well built cider.

Although I completely appreciate the sender of this cider, I must say that it did not contain the clean and sweet I normally enjoy in my drinks. Aroma was sharp and almost offensive, and I mostly tasted a weedy, plantlike flavor with a sharp unpleasant aftertaste.

Light, clear, clean, and refreshing. First taste is of apple, then pear in the finish. Very drinkable.

Had some pretty high expectaions of this one, but it fell just a little short. Its certainly a drier taste than I was expecting for an American made cider. Its color was very pale to near clear, its nose was somewhat offensive. It had a dry, crisp aftertaste thatwas reminiscent of orchard cider of old. Pretty hard to come by, unless you live in Wisconcin but they do offer a mail order service to certain states. I have 3 of the 4 left thet I originally ordered if anyone is interested in a trade for something I haven't yet tried.
