Jun 26, 2008 Cask at Churchill’s, Ramsgate: Not impressed with this beer. Overly sweet and very cloying, also a strange harshness to it. I’ve tried it a couple of times now and I just don’t like it.

Jun 16, 2008 Cask @ Market Porter Clear dark amber with medium off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with roasted malt and caramel. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, caramel and hops. Soft mouthfeel and a mild bitter end.

Pours dark golden with a nice, small, creamy white head. Aroma is soft, some vanilla and flowery hops - some roses, even. Quite lively mouthfeel for a cask ale - maksing it rather fresh. Lovely bitter flavour, lots of fruity and flowery hops. Wonderful dryness. Gimme more!

Feb 21, 2008 Cask @ Croydon BF ’07. Pours golden yellow with white head. Aroma is very hoppy, grassy, citrus, grapefruit. Taste is lightly hoppy, fruity, citruslike. Not bad actually.

Jan 7, 2008 Cask (handpump) @ Wenlock Arms, Islington, London N1, UK. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, roasted, moderate hoppy, grapefruit / lemon, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
