Cask at Wenlock Arms, London It was difficult to pick a winner between this and the Brewers Gold to be honest but the Crouch Vale just about won it. Again a golden beer with a really good hoppy nose with hints of raspberry and strawberry. Good in mouth with a pleasing finish of hops and fruit Re-rate cask condition handpull at Yew Tree Inn Barfrestone. Really intense rich flavours on the aroma, hop and Turkish delight. Rich and sherberty in mouth with great hop and red berry finish. Superb.

This is a good session beer. Nice fruity hop with bitter undertones. Angel Rainham Kent is making this its resident ale.

Cask conditioned at Oxford Beer Festival ’05, gravity dispensed. Pale gold with thick soapy head. For me this was the star of this festival, wonderful fresh hoppy aroma which didn’t let up in the flavour. Fruity fresh hops with hints of new mown grass, a light but fruity malt, juicy but restrained. I could drink this again and again, lovely.

Drank this in the amazing Man of Kent in Rochester. A delicious, light fragrant IPA with gentle aftertaste, making it a perfect session beer. Could be accused of being insubstantial, but i feel its lighness of touch should be applaudes. Hot Dog!

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear deep golden. Pleasant hoppy aroma with hay and grapefruit. Sweet and fruity with rounded mouthfeel and notes of sugar and caramel, as well as plenty of grapefruity hops. Bitter finish with some pine needles. Well balanced and very enjoyable.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 20 June) Colour is golden amber, with a foamy head. Nose is fruity with a distinct flowery hoppiness and hints of grapefruit. Complex hop aroma: earthy and flowery at the same time. Taste is fruity and hoppy with grapefruit and/or lemon, apricots and a flowery sewage character (?!). Long, hoppy finish. Very tasty and still easy to drink. Lovely!
