Cask handpull at The Artillery Arms, Ramsgate. Copper. Very distinctive hop aroma. That’s pretty good. Nice tangerine fruit, excellent earthy hops. I’m quite impressed. Very drinkable tangerine hoppy strong bitter. Good spice on finish.

A Mes rate: Cask at the White Horse.
Amazing bright amber colour, no head but it’s not a problem. Straight forward UK hoppy stuff with a faint mineral note and a pleasing lick of grapefruit especially in the finish. Straight forward but tasty and drinkable.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 17 June 2008) Dark amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with notes of dried apricots, orange and citrus peel. Fruity taste with orange, apricots and a nicely balanced dose of earthy hops in the finish. Fairly dry, well balanced. Nice beer.

Cask @ Market Porter. Clear brown with medium off white head. Sweet fruity with notes of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and hops. Ends bitter.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy reddish brown colour with a frothy pale yellow lasting foam. Fruity and rather hop aromatic aroma of oranges, soil, spices, red berries, resin and old grapefruits. Medium-bodied with malty notes of earth and nuts with fruity undertones of red berries. Long medium-bitter finish of soily, earthy and orangey hops.

Cask - The Old Brewery Tavern Beer ’Festival’, Canterbury. Pours a clear, light amber with a creamy layer of white carbonation that soon dissipates. Sweet caramel malt aromas with notes of orange and the flavours have a sweet and fruity quality with a nice dry hoppy balance. Dry bitter finish leading to a nutty aftertaste. Refreshingly smooth body with a lingering palate texture.

Cask at Olivert Twist, Stockholm. Pale brown. Perfumy, lightly appley nose. Medium sweet and medium bodied. Theres’s a touch of roastiness and bread and a fair amount of floral hops. Finished with good, somewhat resiny bitterness.

Cask @ The Market Porter. Amber with an off white head. Nose is quite aromatic, tropical fruit, apple and citrus hop characters with a sweet malty base, kinda Crouch Vale-esque. Taste is much the same, although not as intense as the aroma suggests, slightly bland with a hint of bitterness in the finish. Shows promise but falls just short.
