(Bottle) Pours a mahogany body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of milk chocolate malt balls, lactose, caramel, and nuts. Flavor of roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate with a dry, somewhat bitter finish.

Clear brown with a medium light tan head - too light for a stout. Pleasant roasty mocha aroma. Flavor has notes of chocolate, mocha, caramel, coffee, roasted malt, some hops and a slight metallic taste in the finish. Overall, pretty bold and flavorful. Medium bodied with a smooth texture and moderate carbonation. Needs some tweaking but all in all, it’s a solid, tasty brew..

Bottle. Dark red brown colour with a small brown head. light roasted, chocolate, light coffee aroma and taste. Medium body with a light sweet, light dry finish. Mild and plesant.

First of all, this is the redest stout I’ve ever seen. Pours a clear deep amber which doesn’t seem to fit the style. Nose is fantastic. Tons of fresh cacao is noticed along with some coffee roastiness. Palate on this stout is weaker and thinner than it should be which kind of carries over to the flavor as well. Kind of reminds me of a sweet stout along the lines of a milk stout. This is certainly drinkable but my rating will be substantially skewed higher simple due to the aroma category.

Thank you Tom/After4ever for yet another US stout :) It’s dark brown with a red hue and a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, coffee, light licorise and anise. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, coffee, licorice and a light bitterness. It’s on the weak side, but still it has a rather long finish.

Brown with a big tan head. Aroma of roasted malts and al little coffee. Flavor of coffee. Finish of coffee biterness. Over carbonated.

bottle-i bought a 4 pack of this with high expectations. I was a little let down i must say. This beer poured crimson red, a little too lite for a stout if you ask me. An off-white colored head topped the beer for a blink of an eye. aroma of toffee, char, dark roast, anise and leafy hops. flavors are big organic, astringent leafy hops and unprocessed grains. Very astringent. some char and roast make their way in there but its all over the top. Some salt in the finish. Finish is overly dry from the earthy/leafy organic hops. not very pleasant if i must say. palate is lite and watery, over-carbonated and spritzy. the organic hops add a spice to the finish as it warms. unique, but not a very good stout.

Bottle. A dark brown color with a diminished tan head. A slightly sour aroma with salt, roasted malts, and a touch of chocolate. A malty, slightly burnt, coffee and nut flavor.
