Black coffee and dark chocolate flavor with a hint of smoke near the end. My only problem with this beer is that it’s a little thin. Still enjoyable and worth a shot. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 19, 2009 Bottle. Mocha, dusty brown sugar nose with lots of roasted malt and some swinging burnt coffee notes. Deep ruby-mahogany with a creamy tan head. Dry and lightly ashy taste with slight flittering malt sweetness. There’s a certain lightness about it, as if some stale air from the yeast under the char, light bitterness and inconsistent carbonation with a plummy end as the stout struggles to unify. Straightaway, by-the-numbers. robinvboyer (1444), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2009 very dark red/ruby pour. The aroma is quite nice. Loads of cocoa powder! Its like smelling cake mix. WOw, the flavoris really quite nice. loads of chocolate, cocoa powder, touches of coffee in the finish with a nice lingering bitteress. Very sweet overall, and not really what i would consider a dry stout. Kinda thin for a stout also, I think this would be at home in the porter category. morrdt (609), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
