Lunkie (1006), Glen Iris, Australia Jun 19, 2008 Sweet hop malt aroma with stone fruit. Murky yellow colour with fair head and lacing. Hop malt flavour with stone fruit. Smooth palate.
beer_ledgend (796), Meadowbank Auckland, New Zealand Aug 11, 2008 Cloudy yellow colour with thick white head, nutty floral aroma. Sprucey, peppermint flavour. Thin body. but still very pleasant. enak (22), Australia Jun 18, 2008 Notes of orange and floral herbs. Pours a near ochre yellow. Despite appearances there is little carbonation and not terribly refreshing. Touches of spice linger after a mouthful. Principal flavours of under-ripe fruits with a little sherbet. Overall a moderately above average Australian bier, not quite achieving the style of Belgian witbier. Unholy_Brewing (286), Melbourne, Australia Jun 11, 2008 ...bottle. Impressive, I tend to doubt the aussie brewers in the wheat\wit styles, but this one was great. Nice creamy head that lasts, smooth palate. Yeast and wheat on the nose, followed by the nice citrus notes, and hints of corriander. Creamy finish that is dry and fruity. Good job, and worth a try. Muggus69 (203), Sydney, Australia May 28, 2008 330ml bottle, BB 31 Dec 08, served chilled. Pours a cloudy butter-coloured body with creamy white head. Sherberty nose, grainy wheat, sharp citrus and earthy coriander, ripe pears and banana. Carbonation is which low, creamy texture, only a slight tartness. Big coriander element on the body, overpowers pretty much everything else once it gets goes, quite earthy, some underlying ripe fruit, citrus and sweetening maltiness. Finish is abrupt, dry, gritty. Not bad, good on ’em for trying this style.
