Commercial Description:
It is smooth-bodied, slightly sweet, nicely bitter and dry, with a rich, complex full-bodied taste, where blackcurrant and cherry hops predominate.

Its a good job I wasn’t too thirsty as the massive head upon poring took a long time to reach a point were I could drink the beer.A cross between a pale and a brown ale it had that acid edge that many bottle conditioned beers have.

The head was tan and very frothy with fine-medium sized bubbles. The body was murky and the hue reminded me of cider. The nose was malty, light hops, sweet and fruity. The flavor was a bit acidic, bitter, hoppy and sour with a tingly and dry mouthfeel. This beer is medium textured in my opinion with fair lacing. Not a great beer, but not a bad beer either.

Extremely carbonated head on the pour. I took several minutes to fill our mugs with this brew as the head continued to foam up after the addition of just a small amount of this brew to the mug. The bubbles are very long lasting, off-white in color, foamy and very finely sized. The body of the brew is very hazy and a thick orange brown in color. The aroma is very mild and hard to discern any notes in particular but a mild dough if anything. The mouthfeel is bubbly and slightly tingly while the flavor is mild with notes of malt and some lingering hops. All in all a decent brew yet somewhat unnoteworthy. A special thanks goes out to an English gent that brought this in from England for me to sample.

Nasty little beer that tastes of sour fruit and stale spice.

Bottle conditioned. Malty nose, deep amber colour with big head and plenty of lace. Strangely nutty body and a dry bitter finish.

Cloudy, light chestnut colour; firm, crackerlike body, malt accent.
