On tap. Nothing great, but nothing horrible. Sweet, and a little bit charcoal at the end. Nice coloring, but not their best offering.

The flavor sets up with some fresh oats, bread, roasted corn, some ham even... with a little touch of smoke as well. A good festive tasting beer, reminds me of cold weather and leaves turning colors. Mild nose, a little nutty.

Tap@Widmer. Sweet, thin and grainy, light grassyness and fizz, crisp and bland.

Dark orange. Very, very sweet (a trend in Portland "alt" beers). But this has a nice caramelly base that wins out and perhaps a glimmer of smoke to boot.

Pours a nice darker red color with a decent white head. Aroma was fairly hoppy with some roasted and spiced aroma. Taste was very roasted, started sweet and ended fairly bitter. Great balance of malt and hops, i wish they kept selling this as their spring seasonal.

Mahogany with a white head and stringy lace. Caramel malts and grassy hops in the nose. Bitter and toasted malts with some roast. Crazy flavors. It starts off with toasted malts, goes bitter, then ends with a gummi bear flavor. Nice finish of candy and bitter hops.

Decent alt , but not earthshaking, it was part of a sampler tray I had at the brewpub. Mildly bitter, with a minimal nose, warm golden color, and fairly smooth palate.
