| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 15, 2004 Pours a nice darker red color with a decent white head. Aroma was fairly hoppy with some roasted and spiced aroma. Taste was very roasted, started sweet and ended fairly bitter. Great balance of malt and hops, i wish they kept selling this as their spring seasonal. Tom Servo (424), Arlington, Virginia, USA

Aroma – Strong malt aroma, with some fruity essence.
Appearance – Dark Amber in color, little to no head and clear.
Flavor – The flavor was strong this was a great old ale. There was a great malt build and great fruit essence.
Palate – Great Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry finish.
Overall – A strong old ale this was a great Alt. Liked the flavors and this beer did not kick in your teeth being so strong.

Caramel malts and grassy hops in the nose. Bitter and toasted malts with some roast. Crazy flavors. It starts off with toasted malts, goes bitter, then ends with a gummi bear flavor. Nice finish of candy and bitter hops.
