Crisp, carbonic and very tasty. Bradrcr (778), Renton, Washington, USA Aug 31, 2008 7/19/08 On draught at the Brewpub. Aroma is plasticy banana clove forward with a breat perfumy candy sweetness. Appearance is clear yellow with a well maintained white head. Flavor is sweet, with fruity citrus, banana and caramel bubblegum. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a light carb texture. Overall, not perfect, but as close as I’ve seen. The best Belgian blond I’ve had; congrats to Widmer on a phenomenal beer. Flavor of banana, clove, and citrus. Tasty! beerinmarch (2781), Alabama, USA Apr 28, 2008 On tap at the PDX Spring Beer fest 2008 and the Cheers for Belgian Beers 2008. Pours deep gold in color with a small white head. Nice carbonation really brings out the yeast esters. Hints of clove, apple, and citrus. Flavor is crisp and dry. This was a really well done Belgian golden, very sessionable and crisp enough for the summer heat.
