On tap at Widmer Gasthaus in Portland, OR--Golden-copper bodied with a filmy head. Stereotypical Belgian yeast ester nose. Crisp, carbonic and very tasty.

7/19/08 On draught at the Brewpub. Aroma is plasticy banana clove forward with a breat perfumy candy sweetness. Appearance is clear yellow with a well maintained white head. Flavor is sweet, with fruity citrus, banana and caramel bubblegum. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a light carb texture. Overall, not perfect, but as close as I’ve seen. The best Belgian blond I’ve had; congrats to Widmer on a phenomenal beer.

On tap at the PDX Spring Beer fest 2008 and the Cheers for Belgian Beers 2008. Pours deep gold in color with a small white head. Nice carbonation really brings out the yeast esters. Hints of clove, apple, and citrus. Flavor is crisp and dry. This was a really well done Belgian golden, very sessionable and crisp enough for the summer heat.
