This was a draft pour at the Widmer Brewpub in Portland, Oregon. It came a very dark amber with a medium off-white head and moderate lacing when I swirled the glass. Nose of citrus and floral hops, with some roasted malt aromas. Lively mouthfeel, but rich and pleasant. The flavor tends toward bitterness with lots of lightly roasted malt flavors, and the finish is bitter. I added this as an IPA because of its title, but overall this seemed kind of like a unique style. Good though.
