Commercial Description:
Blonde Ale is a refreshing beer with everything in balance: Not too heavy, not too sweet. A lighter, yet flavorful beer that's bright, golden, and easy to enjoy.

Nothing to rave about. I drank this over roasted duck this past week. Very light in color with a foamy head that didn't last. It was kind of watery and bland. Nothing special. It did the job of washing down my duck.

An inoffensive brew with nothing special to claim in it's favor. If it was the only thing I might buy again, then again maybe not

Had on tap at Longboards in Huntington Beach. The tast e was reminicent of an off Sierra Nevada pale, better than I expected, but I wasn't expecting much.

One of my least favorite of all Widmers beers, this is way to watery and bland for my tastes.

Not too shabby. Clear and a little fizzy, typical light beer. Somewhat of a bite, sligthly fruity, and overall decent.

On tap we carry this beer as Sweet Betty which is misleading but very appealing to beer novices. More commonly known among the bartenders as Sweaty Betty this is yet another pretty straightforward US blonde. Lacks pretty much in any character, just a plain light mlt beer with very little bite in the finish.

Cidery bright gold. Nose is slightly fruity and a bit soapy. Very dry, some apricot and peach, sweetness at end. Refreshing.

Clear yellow with small white head. Aroma is peach, but not too much so, with some apricot. Peach/apricot flavor, mildly sweet, no bitterness. Crisp, very drinkable summer beer.
