Apr 28, 2009 12oz bottle from The Wine Rack in Midland, TX. Pours light amber with white head. Aroma is citrus, hops and caramel malts. Flavor is caramel malts with hops and citrus. Finishes bitter. Not the best IPA but my first taste of hops in weeks.

~Pleasant aroma of citrus hops and lots of caramel malts.
~Mostly bitter flavor from hops. Sweetness is there, but overpowered by hops. Which is fine with me.
~Light feel. Bitter finish. I like IPA’s to be more heavy feeling and a bit sticky.
~Pretty good brew. Enjoyable to drink.

Grassy and dry with medium bitterness. Some notes of black-currant.

Apr 3, 2009 This golden ale poured with a decent white head and a floral aroma. There is an adequate caramel malt base that is a bit sweet and some serious hop bitterness. This beer is drinkable, but the malt is too thin and the hops are out of balance.

Clear golden colour with brief white head. Grapey, orangey aroma. Bit milky in mouthfeel, with solid grape-juice backbone in flavour, where the focus is here. Bitterness is just medium, and at that a bit papery. Pretty clean IPA here, and not at all astonishing.
