Am I being fair to this beer? Pours hazy yellow with nice lacing. Expected bitterness. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. With my cold I feel I’m doing this beer an injustice. I will rerank when the bug is out of my system. Damn common cold fucking with my beer!!! Sledutah (58), Utah, USA

Appearance: Pours a light golden color with a small white head, leaving a medium amount of lace in the glass.
Aroma: Citrus and grapefruit hops
Taste: Same as the aroma, citrus and grapefruit hops with some sweetness coming through.
This is not an over the top IPA. It has a crisp flavor and is very smooth. It would be easy to drink several pints with no problems. Soonah (925), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 14, 2009 Poured a relatively pale copper color with a solid, two-finger tall white head that produced good lacing. The aroma was mostly pine hops. Some softer floral and citrus notes were present but were washed over by the pine. The flavor was dry pine hops and only a touch of sweeter caramel malts. Very little citrus in the flavor. Thin and dry. Not bad, just pretty one-dimensional. steelersfan07 (6), Boise, Idaho, USA does not count | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 3, 2009 Refreshing. I liked the first two then it got old. I would drink it again. It was a little too citriusy. BetterRedFred (61), Los Alamos, New Mexico, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 3, 2009 Very surprised this one rates so low. I’m usually disappointed when I go out on a limb and try somethig new, but not this time. Very nice balanced IPA (I usually drink Stone exclusively) with a very nice grassy, hoppy kick and not too much malt. This one’s a pleasant surprise, and one I’m going sample regularly from here on due to the moderate 6% ABV and reasonable price - $7.99/6 vs. $9.99/6 for Stone. nearbeer (1834), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 23, 2009 12 oz. Clear, golden-orange with a small ring of creamy bubbles. Big grapefruit and floral aroma. Flavor starts with grapefruit, resin, and caramel. Finish has a bit too much leafy resin for my taste, and not enough malt. Still a decent IPA. Light-medium body is smooth and dry. Fratto (708), Arlington, Texas, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 30, 2009 12 oz bottle served in shaker- poured transparent light copper color, lively medium carbonation, 3 mm white bubbly head formed, stayed, and laced to a minimal effect. Mild aroma of floral hops and a light carmel malt. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, malt is there and has been very lightly sweetened, pine comes form the front and lingers, middle the pine is more strong, finish is slightly acidic. It’s not bad, but I like my IPA’S with a little bit more strength to them in the malt and hops department. Easy sipper.
