Haslinger (640), Syracuse, New York, USA Mar 6, 2008 One of the better IPAs I have ever had, the grapefruit and hops taste is very exacerbated but not to an entirely bad point. It is a different tasting IPA but not bad by any means. I would probably buy again VitaminR (422), Colorado, USA Mar 5, 2008 Slight resin nose. Rich amber color. Citrus sweetness, with good bitterness, nicely balanced. Has a full body, good carbonation, slight alcohol burn late in the finish. A solid, restrained IPA. FoolishMortal (965), San Diego, California, USA Mar 4, 2008 12oz bottle. Medium orange color with a thin film of white head. Juicy candied citrus and pine hop aromatics. Citric metallic, tropical fruit, and lemongrass hop flavors up front. Unobstrusive caramel malt base balances a bracing herbal bitterness. Lingering vegetal hop components, some bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is a light medium, somewhat dry. JinHutto (5), USA does not count Mar 3, 2008 I have to say this is a winner in my book for an IPA. The aroma is the clincher. Nice bitterness and balance. Added bonus, I’ve been seeing this around a bit so it can be a quick pick up favorite. HoppyGuy (111), USA Mar 1, 2008 Oh man, I really like this brew. It pours a medium amber with medium beige head and decent carbonation. The aroma is incredible, with a wonderful citrus aroma and flavor. As you can probably tell by my moniker (HoppyGuy), I really enjoy a highly hopped brew like this. The mouthfeel is crisp and succinct, with no trace of mushiness (I hope that made sense). This brew would be incredible with bratwurst or a bold pasta dish(hmmmm...maybe I should cook my brats in this brew...). Great brew, and I like the little sayings included on the inside of the bottle cap. raphael (411), Portland, Oregon, USA Feb 28, 2008 Medium amber with quick head. has the skunky pilsner hop aroma mixed with graperfruit and (unbuttered) popcorn. smooth in the mouth and lager thin. some pine joins the lemon in flavor. i only know theres malt cause the hops dont get carried away. ph0tik (71), Denver, Colorado, USA Feb 28, 2008 I picked it up for the name alone. Pours a copper yellow with a nice hoppy aroma. It has a nice bitter finish. Nothing to set it apart from some other IPAs but nothing going against it either. GMCC2181 (846), Bear, Delaware, USA Feb 27, 2008 Bottle: Copper color with a one finger head that disappeared quickly, nice lacing left on the glass. Smell is citrus hops. Taste is sweet hops. Nice medium body. Smooth. Overall a good beer. Thanks Craig!
