Some sweet citric hoppy qualities in the nose. Decent hoppiness. Some bready qualities. Drinkable IPA with decent bitterness. Swalden28 (1449), McKinney, Texas, USA

Obvious use of hops and good head retention....This one seemed like a nicely balanced IPA for the masses and you can tell some quality ingredients were used. can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 8, 2007 Nice and hoppy, but not much else. There is little detectable malt and the aroma doesn’t impart citrus as much I I hoped it would. It’s a decent beverage, but not one I’d want to seek out to have again. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Had this beer on 6/30/2006. Aroma is a sweet hoppy scent. Color is a deep golden with light carbonation and a thin head. Taste is mildly hoppy. Starting with a light/medium body that goes down easy with the air of hops coming on. Finish comes on with light maltyness that is backed by a full bitterness and a citrus like fresh hop flavor. Its a nice hoppy IPA with good fresh hop flavor. darbish (81), Portland, Oregon, USA

Nice and bitter, but not so much to keep you from enjoying it. The description lists a citrus flavor, and while this is definitely true, the flavor is subtle and gives the beer a refreshing taste. Recommended for sure. FROTHINGSLOSH (1984), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 5, 2007 Thanks to Pigboy for brining me this one from a trip out of state. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy bright golden-amber color with a small white head. The aroma was very nice with sweet with strong grapefruit and pine elements. The flavor was sweet, fruity and lightly peppery with notes of grapefruit, pine and floral hops. Quite nice. SamAdams777 (37), Abilene or Stephenville, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 2, 2007 This is a really good India pale ale. Its definetly a grapefruit flavored beer. The flavor is bold and big. Not as bitter as some ipa’s, so if thats your thing, you might want to look here. Its internation bitterness unit scale(IBUscale) is up there in the 40s no doubt. jmcguire1969 (149), Lafayette, Colorado, USA
