| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 28, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a light amber color with a mediocre white head. Aroma is there, but a little more mild than one might expect. Taste is pretty equally balanced between hops and malt. Dusty, dry finish. This beer actually exceeded my expectations, but is a pretty average IPA overall. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA

Grapefruit and bready flavors. Body seems to mellow out some bitterness perception which I don’t like. A bit of playdough that lingers with backing grapefruit and pine. Medium body. ford9719 (369), Vilseck, Germany
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 24, 2007 Bottle. Poured a hazy yellow color. Aroma is of some grapefruit and hops. Taste is full body with a nice fresh hop finish. Duster72 (117), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 16, 2007 Pours a cloudy orange with a one finger head that leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is pine and citrus hops. Taste is primarily piney hops but there is enough grapefruit there to keep it refreshing and give a little pleasant sweetness. Not as resiny as some other piney IPAs. Mouthfeel is nice, not too clingy. Very drinkable IPA. Not my favorte, but very good. graham515 (424), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 11, 2007 A nice deep gold with little to no head at all. The aroma is really the best part of this beer. Very fruity, some citrus as well as plum-like features to complement the heavy hopping. Unfortunately, the bitterness is a bit to abbrasive on this one (Maybe I’ve gotten spoiled to Dogfish’s smoothness). It really not a bad beer tho. dyetube (404), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2007 I gotta agree with the previous poster.. This beer is kinda flat for an IPA, but it is way better than the macros! It pours a medium amber with a small white head and has that characteristic hoppy dryness to it. I think it needs to be a little sweeter and rounded out. Cheers! ChazMania (409), Pasadena, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 29, 2007 Bottled. Poured nice, had a full creamy head. Flavor is more flat and bland than Im used to with IPA’s. I guess I like the big Hops, this is just a basic one, better than macros but not very unique in style character or flavor. Moderate carbonation, excellent body and mouth feel. Very varied taste over the course of a swallow - grapefruit, orange and resinous hops without every overpowering the malt. Finish is nicely sweet and almost oatmeal with the hops overlay. A great IPA
